Tourlyx offers tiered subscription plans so you can match your plan to the size and complexity of the tournaments you run. Your current plan is always visible in the sidebar footer.

14-Day Free Trial

Every new Tourlyx account starts with a 14-day free trial. During the trial you can explore the full app with the limits shown in the Trial row above. No credit card is required to start your trial.

The sidebar footer displays a Trial badge along with a countdown showing how many days remain. When your trial expires, a full-screen lock screen appears — you must subscribe to continue accessing your tournaments. Your data is preserved and immediately available once you upgrade.

Your current plan is always shown at the bottom of the left sidebar. For trial accounts, a countdown timer shows the days remaining. Click the Change Plan link in the sidebar or navigate to the Pricing page to upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

Changing Your Plan (Upgrade or Downgrade)

Existing subscribers can upgrade or downgrade their plan directly from the Pricing page. Tourlyx handles the billing change through Stripe automatically — no need to cancel and re-subscribe.

Click Change Plan in the sidebar footer, or navigate to the Pricing page.
Your current plan is highlighted. Click the button on any other plan to switch.
A confirmation modal appears showing:
- Cost preview — the prorated amount due today (for upgrades) or credit applied (for downgrades).
- Card on file — the card brand and last four digits that will be charged.
- Next billing date — when your next full billing cycle starts.
Review the details and click Confirm Upgrade (or Confirm Downgrade).
The plan change takes effect immediately. The sidebar badge and all feature gates update instantly — no page refresh needed.

Note: Upgrades are prorated — you only pay the difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Downgrades apply a credit to your next invoice. Feature access adjusts immediately in both cases.

Feature Gating

Features not included in your plan display an upgrade prompt rather than the feature controls. The table below summarizes which features require which plan tier:

When you attempt to enable a gated feature on a lower-tier plan, the setup section shows a lock banner with a View Plans button. Upgrading your plan immediately unlocks the gated features for all your tournaments — no need to re-configure anything.

Tip: If you are unsure which plan is right for you, start with Starter. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately — no need to re-create tournaments.

By subscribing to a paid plan you acknowledge acceptance of the Terms of Service, as indicated on the Pricing page.
